Our verdict on Betfred: the biggest welcome package, backed by a UK group and 60+ shops
Betfred South Africa pairs the largest welcome package among the bookmakers we have reviewed, up to R21,000 in bonus funds plus 750 free spins over three deposits, with the backing of the UK Betfred Group and a chain of 60+ retail shops where you can deposit and draw cash. The rollover is light at four times the bonus, but only singles count, each wallet pays out at most R10,000, and you have seven days. There is no app: Betfred’s own FAQ says the service is fully web-based. Its HelloPeter rating is poor at 2.1 stars, although the company answers most negative reviews.
GBets gives a R50 free bet, YesPlay matches 100% up to R3,000 and Sportingbet’s deposit match tops out at R15,000. Betfred’s three matches (100%, then 50%, then 75%, each up to R7,000) beat all of them on paper, and the 4x rollover is lighter than YesPlay’s 7x on deposit plus bonus. The fine print is worked through in rands below.
Ownership is the second thing that sets Betfred apart. Betting World (Pty) Ltd, the licensed company, has belonged to the Betfred Group since June 2021, when the group bought it from the administrator of Phumelela. Alongside the website, Betfred covers horse racing and greyhounds, takes cash deposits over the counter at its shops for free, and pays withdrawals in cash there.
Payout ceilings are high: R15 million per customer per day, and R10 million on pre-match soccer. The payment list is long, but withdrawal limits and timings come only from a Betfred guide published in July 2024, so check the cashier first.
Punters who plan to deposit several times and want the most bonus money available, horse racing fans, people who live near a Betfred shop and like dealing in cash, and soccer bettors who want PSL markets alongside the Premier League. The high payout ceilings suit anyone building big multiples with real money.
Anyone who wants a proper app, punters who mainly bet accumulators (bonus funds work on singles only), and people who cannot bet through a bonus within seven days. If you would rather have the country’s biggest brand with round-the-clock support, read our Betway review.

How we reviewed Betfred
We rate every bookmaker with the same nine-category model, covering licensing and safety, sign-up, the sportsbook, bonuses, payments, mobile, support, responsible gambling and reputation. For Betfred we used the bookmaker’s own pages and terms, the gambling regulator’s licence records, app store listings, customer reviews and news coverage, and we compared what we found with the other South African bookmakers we cover. See how we rate bookmakers.
Is Betfred legit? Licensing and safety
Yes. Betfred South Africa is the trading name of Betting World (Pty) Ltd, company registration number 2000/008649/07. The site footer states that the company is “licensed and regulated by the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator (Bookmaker Licence Number: 9-2-1-00039)” and that “all events are fixed odds betting events”. The same licence number appears on Betfred’s loyalty site.
Betfred also hosts a copy of the licence certificate on its own domain. It names Betting World (Pty) Ltd as the licensee, lists www.betfred.co.za as the domain, and gives the licensed premises as the TAB Building, 45 Smuts Road, eMalahleni, under the trading name “BETFRED EMALAHLENI”. That certificate was issued in October 2025. It says renewal is due by 30 June each year and the licence expires on 30 September each year, so if you want to see the current year’s certificate, ask support for it.
A 2021 trade report described Betting World as regulated by the Gauteng Gambling Board. The licence tied to betfred.co.za, though, is the Mpumalanga one, and that is the regulator for online accounts.
Who owns Betfred South Africa?
The Betfred Group, the UK bookmaker founded by Fred and Peter Done in 1967 and rebranded Betfred in 2004, completed its purchase of Betting World (Pty) Ltd from the administrator of Phumelela in June 2021. Trade reports disagree on the price paid and even on the exact completion date (31 May or 1 June 2021). IOL named the UK buying entity as Lightcatch Limited.
The group has kept growing locally. In 2022 it bought Sportsbet (formerly Sepel’s Best Bet), and in June 2022 it took a majority stake in LottoStar. Betfred’s own newsroom credits Fred Done with inventing the Lucky 15 bet, and the brand promotes its role as Manchester United’s official betting partner to South African customers.
On branch numbers, Betfred’s own pages are not consistent: one 2024 newsroom article says “50+ locations across 7 provinces”, while the current deposit and withdrawal pages say 60+ retail locations. Gambling Insider counted 53 shops in June 2022. Rely on the current figure, and check the branch list for your nearest shop.
What to do if you have a dispute with Betfred
Start with Betfred itself. Phone 087 095 8862, use live chat, or email support@betfred.co.za, and give your account user ID, the bet or transaction reference, dates, amounts and screenshots. For anything about the welcome bonus, Betfred’s terms ask you to email support@betfred.co.za with your user ID and “Triple 7 Welcome Offer” in the subject line.
Keep a written record of every reply. If a disputed bet was captured incorrectly or not captured at all, the general terms limit any payout on it to R50,000, subject to Betfred’s agreement. If you cannot reach an answer with Betfred, the licensing regulator for its online business is the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator; quote licence number 9-2-1-00039 when you contact it.
Licence and safety is 12% of the overall score. How we rate bookmakers
Betfred sign-up and FICA
You can look at the odds before you register, since the sportsbook is browsable without logging in. Have your South African identity number ready, because registration asks for it, and read the terms before you tick the box.
Two welcome-offer rules affect how you sign up. Betfred allows one set of bonuses per physical address, contact details or IP address. Its terms also say that logging in from shared devices, public networks, internet cafes or workplaces voids bonus rewards, so register and claim from your own phone or computer on your own connection.
Under FICA, Betfred must identify and validate every customer. Its terms say it may ask for “documentary evidence of your identity and residence” before you bet or while you are betting. The Betfred FICA documents to have ready are:
- Your South African identity number for registration
- A document proving your identity
- A document proving your residential address
- Documents dated within the last three months, as Betfred’s FAQ requires
Betfred’s FAQ explains that you upload FICA documents through an upload button in your account. Do it straight after you register so a first payout is not held up by paperwork.
If you take the welcome offer, note that real-money deposits must be played through in full before bonus or free spin winnings can be withdrawn: effectively 1x turnover on your own money, on top of the 4x rollover.
Betfred sportsbook: soccer, racing and PSL betting
Betfred’s sportsbook stands out from some local books in one way: alongside soccer, rugby and cricket it has full sections for horse racing and greyhounds. GBets and YesPlay offer no horse racing at all. The rest of the book is a solid general offering rather than a specialist one, with the usual in-play, outright and price boost tabs.

Sports and leagues
The sport strip names soccer, rugby, basketball, cricket, tennis, golf, Formula 1, boxing, MMA, table tennis, volleyball, ice hockey, American football, baseball and darts, with more beyond the edge of the strip. Betfred’s betting rules cover more than 50 sports, including athletics, badminton, bowls, cycling, netball, motorcycle racing, surfing and winter sports. Soccer is by far the biggest section.
The top leagues shortcut includes the PSL, the MTN 8, the United Rugby Championship, the Premier League, the NBA, MLB and the NFL, so local and international favourites sit side by side. If you are new to backing local football, our guide to PSL betting explains the main markets.
Horses and Greyhounds have their own top menu entries, backed by racing promotions and a Durban July specials page. Welcome bonus funds can back a horse to win only, never place or exotic bets.
Live betting and cash out
Live betting sits under the In Play tab, and the footer links to a Live In-Play section. Betfred’s promotion pages also include in-play insurance on URC and Premier League matches, live bet insurance on rugby and daily bet insurance on the PSL.
Cash out is available. Betfred has a cash out promotion page, and its welcome terms refer directly to cashed-out bets, which count as abuse if placed below odds of 1.50 with bonus funds. The terms do not say whether you can cash out part of a bet.
Bet builder, boosts and insurance
Bet Builder is on the sportsbook, backed by a “Bet Builder 50% weekly insurance” banner. A Price Boost tab lists boosted multiples, with boosts of +10% to +12% shown. Multi Insurance promises “up to 10x your stake back”. There is also a Statistics tab and a search box for finding a team or event quickly.
What is not offered
There is no app, so in-play betting happens in your browser. Bonus funds cannot be used on multiples or Bet Builder bets, and on Lucky Numbers they cannot go on single-number or bonus ball bets. All events are fixed odds; Betfred’s footer says so in plain words.
Betfred maximum payouts: high ceilings on paper
Betfred’s payout limits are generous. Its general terms say winnings are based on a limits table and are never more than R15 million per customer per day on lotto and numbers games, or R10 million on pre-match soccer. The general one-day cap is R15,000,000 per customer, far above the five-figure caps some bookmakers set on single bets.
| Bet type | Maximum winnings |
|---|---|
| All betting, per customer per day | R15,000,000 |
| Lotto and numbers, per customer per day | R15,000,000 |
| Pre-match soccer | R10,000,000 |
| Soccer multiples of 7+ legs that include another sport or racing | That other sport’s maximum |
| Disputed bets captured incorrectly or not captured | R50,000, subject to Betfred’s agreement |
| Boosted bets | Betfred may set its own stake and payout limits |
Worked example: you stake R500 on a seven-leg pre-match soccer accumulator at combined odds of 25,000.00. The full return would be R12.5 million, but the pre-match soccer cap is R10 million, so R10 million is the most Betfred would pay. Add a rugby match as an eighth leg and the bet falls under rugby’s maximum instead, which may be lower.
These are ceilings, not promises: the cap on your bet comes from Betfred’s limits table, so for a large stake on a minor sport, ask support for the limit first. For most punters, the caps will never bite.
Betfred welcome bonus and promotions: R21,000 plus 750 spins
Betfred calls itself “The Bonus King in South Africa” on its promotions hub, and the welcome offer backs up the slogan in size at least. The 777 Winning Welcome (the terms call it the Triple 7 Welcome Offer) adds up to R21,000 in bonus funds and 750 free spins across your first three deposits. That is far more than YesPlay’s 100% up to R3,000 or Sunbet’s 100% up to R1,000. The trade-off is a set of rules that reward patience and punish shortcuts. If you are new to rollover terms, read our explainer on how wagering requirements work.

The 777 Winning Welcome: three deposit matches
The offer applies to first, second and third deposits made from August 2025. Each deposit earns its own match and its own batch of free spins on Big Bass Bonanza, credited within two hours.
| Deposit | Match | Free spins by deposit size |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | 100% up to R7,000 | R20 to R99: 10; R100 to R499: 20; R500 to R999: 50; R1,000 to R6,999: 100; R7,000+: 250 |
| 2nd | 50% up to R7,000 | R40 to R199: 10; R200 to R999: 20; R1,000 to R3,999: 50; R4,000 to R13,999: 100; R14,000+: 250 |
| 3rd | 75% up to R7,000 | R30 to R149: 10; R150 to R749: 20; R750 to R2,999: 50; R3,000 to R9,999: 100; R10,000+: 250 |
To collect everything you would need to deposit R7,000, then R14,000, then R10,000: R31,000 in total for R21,000 in bonus funds and 750 spins. Smaller deposits earn the same percentages.
The terms in plain rands
- Rollover: bonus funds must be “rolled over four times at any odds” before they move to your main wallet. Bets below 1.50, including cashed-out bets, count as manipulation, so in practice keep to 1.50 or higher.
- Singles only: no multiples or Bet Builder bets with bonus funds.
- Where you can use it: sports, horse racing (win bets only) and Lucky Numbers (2 to 3 numbers, no single-number or bonus ball bets).
- Deadline: bonus funds expire if not fully transferred within seven days; free spins expire 72 hours after they land.
- Cap: at most R10,000 can move to your main wallet from each of the three bonus wallets.
- Your own money first: real-money deposits must be played through in full before winnings from bonus funds or spins can be withdrawn.
- No refunds: void or non-runner bonus bets are not refunded, and stakes do not return to the bonus wallet.
Worked example: you deposit R500. You get R500 in bonus funds and 50 free spins. You must bet your R500 deposit through once, and place R2,000 in bonus singles (four times R500) at 1.50 or more within seven days. Compare that with YesPlay’s 7x on deposit plus bonus at 3.10: on a R500 deposit, YesPlay would ask for R7,000 of betting. Betfred’s maths is far kinder, but the singles-only rule and the seven-day window need planning.
Skipping or under-funding a deposit in the sequence, repetitive low-risk bets, using only bonus funds first, covering all outcomes and syndicate play all void the bonus and winnings. To see how this stacks up across the market, our betting bonuses page compares current welcome offers.
Ongoing offers
- Multi Insurance: up to 10x your stake back, according to the sportsbook banner.
- Bet Builder weekly insurance: 50% weekly insurance on Bet Builder bets.
- Price Boost: boosted multiples, with boosts of +10% to +12% shown.
- Refer a friend: Betfred’s loyalty site says you earn R222 when a friend registers with your link and deposits R50 or more.
- Sports and racing extras: promotion pages cover PSL daily bet insurance, in-play insurance on URC and Premier League games, weekend cashbacks, early payouts and racing offers such as extra places and runner-up refunds.
- Casino and numbers: weekend cashbacks on casino and numbers games, Aviator races and slot tournaments.
Betfred deposits and withdrawals: cash at the shop, limits from 2024
Betfred’s payment list is long, and its shops add free cash deposits and cash withdrawals in person. The weak spot is detail. The current deposit and withdrawal pages list methods but no minimums, maximums or times; those figures appear only in Betfred’s own guides from July 2024.
Betfred’s deposit page does not state a minimum deposit. The smallest first deposit that earns welcome free spins is R20, and the refer-a-friend reward needs a friend’s deposit of R50 or more.
| Deposit method | Type | Notes |

Compare other betting sites that take Mastercard or, to keep your bank out of it, voucher betting sites.
The withdrawal limits below come from Betfred’s own guide published in July 2024. The current withdrawal page lists the methods but not the limits, so confirm the figures in the cashier before you request a payout.
| Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum | Time Betfred states |
|---|---|---|---|
| EFT via Walletdoc | Not stated | Not stated | About 30 minutes during trading hours |
| Ozow (EFT) | R200 | R25,000 per day | About 30 minutes during banking hours |
| Shoprite MoneyMarket voucher | R50 | R3,000 per day | Instant |
| Cash at a Betfred shop | R50 | R3,000 per day | Immediate |
| FNB Instant Cash | R200 | R3,000 per day | About 30 minutes |
| Standard Bank Instant Cash | R200 | R3,000 per day | About 30 minutes |
| Nedbank Instant Cash | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated |
| 1Voucher | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated |
The current page and the 2024 guide do not quite match. The current page adds Nedbank Instant Cash and 1Voucher, which the 2024 guide does not list, and it describes bank payouts simply as EFT and Ozow. Treat the current page as the list of what is on offer and the 2024 figures as a guide only.
Which withdrawal method should you use?
- Large wins: Ozow, which Betfred’s own guide says allows up to R25,000 per day, far more than the R3,000 daily limit on the cash options. See our guide to Ozow betting sites.
- Straight to your bank: EFT via Walletdoc, which Betfred says takes about 30 minutes during its trading hours. Our page on EFT betting sites explains the options.
- Cash in hand, small amounts: a Betfred shop or the Shoprite MoneyMarket voucher, both from R50.
- Cash from an ATM: FNB, Nedbank or Standard Bank Instant Cash, which sends an SMS PIN you use to draw the money at an ATM.
- Spend at Flash stores: 1Voucher, which gives an SMS PIN; any unused balance comes back as a new PIN.
How to withdraw from Betfred, step by step
- Upload your FICA documents and make sure they are approved.
- If you claimed a bonus, check that your real-money deposit is played through and the bonus has moved to your main wallet.
- For EFT or Ozow, save your bank details on your profile first; Betfred requires this before a bank payout.
- Open the withdrawal section, choose your method and enter the amount, keeping within that method’s minimum and daily maximum.
- Collect your money: an SMS PIN for Instant Cash at the ATM or 1Voucher at Flash stores, a voucher in the Shoprite app for MoneyMarket, cash at a Betfred shop, or a transfer to your bank.
One quirk of the MoneyMarket option: Betfred says the voucher is available instantly in the Shoprite app, but it cannot be withdrawn as cash from the MoneyMarket account itself.
Fees to know about
- Credit card deposits: the general terms reserve the right to charge a 5% administration fee. On a R1,000 deposit, that would be R50.
- Unbet cash deposits: a cash deposit must be bet within 14 days, or Betfred may return it and charge a 6% administration fee. On R2,000 returned, that is R120.
- Cash deposits at shops: free, according to Betfred.
- Withdrawals: no withdrawal fee is stated on Betfred’s payment pages or in its guide.
Betfred Lucky Numbers, Betgames and casino games
An older Betfred page calls the brand a “premium sports betting & lotteries partner”, and the Numbers section (Betfred Lucky Numbers) has its own place in the top menu. It also counts for the welcome bonus, as it does at YesPlay: you can use bonus funds on 2 or 3 numbers, but not on single-number or bonus ball bets. Weekend cashbacks run on numbers games too.
Betgames has its own menu entry, and the site also carries keno, a wheel game and a dogs game. Beyond that, Betfred runs a full casino side: Spintastic slots, Vegas tables, Instant Games, Live Casino, the Aviator crash game, SkyPilot and a row of “Betfred Exclusives”. Pragmatic Play slots are listed, and tournaments run on Pragmatic and EGT games.
This review focuses on sports betting, so we do not cover the casino in depth. If you play slots, note that the welcome free spins are tied to Big Bass Bonanza and expire 72 hours after they are credited.
Betfred app and mobile site
There is no current Betfred app in South Africa. The Betfred FAQ answers the question “Does Betfred have APP?” with: “Please note that we are fully web-based at this time.” It suggests saving the website to your phone for quick access instead.
Betfred’s official pages disagree on this point. An older Betfred page at android.betfred.co.za, with a 2022 copyright footer, still offers an Android APK download and lists features such as push notifications, in-play betting, bonuses and cash out. The FAQ is the more current source, so rely on it: treat Betfred as web-only, and if you come across that APK, ask support whether it is still supported before you install it.
The website is built as a mobile web app, and its menu covers the sportsbook, In Play, racing, Numbers, Betgames and casino, with odds visible before you log in. Saving it to your home screen, as Betfred suggests, is the closest thing to an app.
Usability and the app are 10% of the overall score. How we rate bookmakers
Betfred customer care number and support
Betfred’s support covers the usual three channels: phone, email and live chat. That is ordinary for the market. The official contact details are:
- Betfred customer care number: 087 095 8862 (+27 87 095 8862 from abroad)
- Email: support@betfred.co.za
- Live chat: named in Betfred’s FAQ as a support channel
- Physical address: 2nd Floor, 345 Rivonia Road, Edenburg, Sandton, Johannesburg 2025
Watch the email address. The old Android download page lists support@betfredsa.co.za, but the current contact page and the loyalty site use support@betfred.co.za. Use the current address.
HelloPeter reviewers mention both a chatbot and live chat, and several positive reviews thank support agents by name. For bonus questions, use email with “Triple 7 Welcome Offer” in the subject line, as the terms ask.
Responsible gambling at Betfred
Betfred’s responsible gambling tools are standard for a South African bookmaker, with self-service options in your account. You must be 18 or older to play.
- Deposit limits: under your initials, choose Responsible gambling, then Change My Deposit Limit. You can set a day limit and an amount limit, confirmed with your password.
- Self-exclusion: under Self Exclude My Account, pick the period you want. Betfred’s FAQ warns that the changes cannot be undone.
- Formal self-exclusion: the site footer links to a self-exclusion information sheet and the LA30a self-exclusion application form.
- Advice: the responsible gambling page suggests having a budget, setting time limits and not chasing losses.
If gambling is causing you problems, the National Responsible Gambling Programme offers free, confidential counselling on 0800 006 008, or by WhatsApp on 076 675 0710. With a welcome offer this large, it is worth setting a deposit limit before you start rather than after.
Responsible gambling is 6% of the overall score. How we rate bookmakers
Betfred reputation and complaints
Betfred’s public reviews are weak, but unlike GBets it does answer them. On HelloPeter, Betfred has a TrustIndex of 4/10 and an average of 2.1 stars from 49 reviews. One-star reviews make up 69.4% of the total and five-star reviews 20.4%, with 4.1% at four stars, none at three and 6.1% at two.
The recurring complaints in 2026 are unpaid winning tickets, withdrawals that were delayed or did not arrive, and free spins that were not credited. One reviewer described a R350 withdrawal being passed back and forth between live chat and the voucher provider. On the positive side, several reviewers thank support agents by name.
What separates Betfred from brands such as GBets is the response rate: HelloPeter shows that 87% of negative reviews were replied to within 31 hours 35 minutes. There is no Trustpilot profile for the South African site; the Betfred reviews on Trustpilot are for the separate UK business.
In the news, the best-known critical coverage dates from April 2022, when IOL’s The Star reported that the Gauteng Gambling Board was scrutinising the transfer of the Sepels licences to Betfred, 12 of which were in the name of the late founder. No outcome was reported. We know of no regulator fines, sanctions or negative press about Betfred South Africa from late 2023 onward.
Tips for betting at Betfred
- Plan the welcome offer before your first deposit. The match drops from 100% to 50% on deposit two, so the first deposit gives the most bonus per rand (R7,000 fills it). Know your seven-day window before you start.
- Stick to singles at 1.50 or higher with bonus funds. Multiples and Bet Builder bets are not allowed, and lower odds count as abuse.
- Bet from your own device and network. Claiming from a workplace, internet cafe or shared device can void the bonus.
- Choose Ozow for larger withdrawals. Betfred’s own guide gives it a R25,000 daily limit, against R3,000 for cash options; confirm in the cashier.
- Avoid credit card deposits if you can. The terms allow a 5% fee; instant EFT, vouchers or free cash deposits at a shop avoid it.
- Bet cash deposits within 14 days. Otherwise Betfred may return the money with a 6% fee.

Yes. The licence number is in the site footer, the company lists a Sandton head office, and its parent is the UK Betfred Group.
Who owns Betfred South Africa?
The UK Betfred Group, founded by Fred and Peter Done in 1967, owns Betting World (Pty) Ltd, which trades as Betfred South Africa. The group bought Betting World from the administrator of Phumelela in June 2021. Since then it has also bought Sportsbet (formerly Sepel’s Best Bet) and taken a majority stake in LottoStar, both in 2022.

Bonus funds must be rolled over four times in singles within seven days, and each bonus wallet pays out at most R10,000.
What is the Betfred minimum deposit?
Betfred does not publish a cashier minimum on its deposit page. For the welcome offer, the smallest first deposit that earns free spins is R20, which gives 10 spins plus a 100% match. The second deposit’s free spin tiers start at R40 and the third deposit’s at R30. Separately, a friend you refer must deposit R50 or more for you to earn the R222 referral reward.
How long does a Betfred withdrawal take?
Betfred’s own guide from July 2024 says EFT via Walletdoc takes about 30 minutes during trading hours, Ozow about 30 minutes during banking hours, FNB and Standard Bank Instant Cash about 30 minutes, and Shoprite MoneyMarket vouchers are instant. Cash at a Betfred shop is immediate. The current withdrawal page does not repeat these times, so confirm them in the cashier.
What are the Betfred withdrawal limits?
Betfred’s own July 2024 guide says Ozow withdrawals run from R200 to R25,000 per day. Shoprite MoneyMarket vouchers and cash at a Betfred shop run from R50 to R3,000 per day, and FNB and Standard Bank Instant Cash from R200 to R3,000 per day. The current withdrawal page lists no limits, so check the cashier before you request a payout.
What FICA documents does Betfred need?
You need your South African identity number to register. Betfred’s terms say it may ask for documentary evidence of your identity and your residence, and its FAQ says documents must not be older than three months. You upload them with the upload button in your account. Do this soon after registering, so your first withdrawal is not held up while the documents are checked.
Does Betfred have an app?
No. Betfred’s FAQ says it is “fully web-based at this time” and suggests saving the website to your phone for quick access. An older Betfred Android download page from 2022 still exists and offers an APK file, but the FAQ is the more current source, so treat Betfred as web-only. The website still covers the full sportsbook, racing, Numbers and casino.
What is the Betfred customer care number?
The Betfred customer care number is 087 095 8862, or +27 87 095 8862 from outside South Africa. You can also email support@betfred.co.za or use live chat on the website. Note that an older page lists support@betfredsa.co.za; the current contact page uses support@betfred.co.za, so use that one. For welcome bonus queries, put “Triple 7 Welcome Offer” in the subject.
What is the maximum payout at Betfred?
Betfred’s general terms cap winnings at R15 million per customer per day overall, with R15 million for lotto and numbers and R10 million for pre-match soccer. The exact limit on your bet comes from Betfred’s limits table, and Betfred may set separate limits on boosted bets. Disputed bets that were captured incorrectly have a R50,000 maximum.
Can I deposit with Capitec or Ozow at Betfred?
Yes. Betfred’s deposit page lists Capitec Pay and Ozow as instant EFT options, alongside Walletdoc EFT. Ozow also works for withdrawals, and Betfred’s own July 2024 guide puts the Ozow withdrawal limits at R200 minimum and R25,000 per day. Bank details must be saved on your profile before an Ozow or EFT payout.
Does Betfred offer cash out and live betting?
Yes. Live betting runs through the In Play tab and the Live In-Play section, with in-play insurance offers on URC and Premier League matches. Cash out is available too: Betfred has a cash out promotion page and its welcome terms refer to cashed-out bets. Cashed-out bonus bets below odds of 1.50 count as bonus abuse.
