South African bookmaker reviews
Every review uses the same scoring model and primary sources only: the bookmaker’s own site and terms, the provincial gambling boards and public review platforms. Sort and filter the list to find the bookmaker that fits how you bet.

What our scores measure
Each review scores the same nine categories. These six carry the most weight for South African punters. Tap one to see exactly what we look for.
Frequently asked questions
How do I check a bookmaker's licence?
Each review names the gambling board that licenses the bookmaker and gives its licence number, so you can check it with the board. Filter by province above to see who is licensed where.
How do you decide the order?
By default the list is ranked by overall score, a weighted average of nine categories. Use Sort by to rank by the category you care about most, such as payments or bonuses.
Do bookmakers pay to be reviewed or ranked?
No. We may earn a commission if you join through our links, but that never changes a score or what a review says. The same questions and weights apply to every bookmaker.
How often are reviews updated?
We update a review and its score when we find that a bookmaker has changed its welcome offer, terms, payment methods or licence. Always confirm the current terms on the bookmaker’s own site before you deposit.
