LulaBet is a Cape Town bookmaker, licensed by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board, with a simple pitch: bet R250, get a R250 free bet, and turn over only the free bet winnings once. Support runs 24/7 by phone and live chat, and the terms allow withdrawals of up to R250,000 a day. The weak spots are weekday-only EFT payouts and a thin, mostly negative complaints record that copycat sites may be muddying.
The welcome offer is the clearest difference in this LulaBet review. Free bets elsewhere tend to be small (the Betway sign-up offer includes R10, GBets gives R50), and deposit matches often carry 5x to 8x wagering. The main safety concern is a run of 2026 reviews from players asked to pay to “upgrade” an account, sometimes to “VIP 2”, before a withdrawal was released. That pattern is typical of clone sites, but the reviews do not show whether those players were on lulabet.co.za or a copycat, so it cannot be pinned on either. Worked example: a R100 multi at combined odds of 12,000.00 would return R1.2 million, but the sports cap pays R1,000,000. At R250,000 a day, withdrawing it all would take at least four days.

The most common complaint is a withdrawal held until the player pays to “upgrade” or deposits again. As noted above, this matches clone-site behaviour, though the reviews do not show which site those players used, and one Trustpilot reviewer who was paid about an hour after a bank withdrawal warned others about “knock-off” sites.
